Accounts Payable Clerk
We are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk for a well-established, friendly team at a healthcare provider in the Chesterfield area. The main function of this role is to ensure timely and accurate supplier invoice accounting and payment.
The role is a full time 6 month fixed term contract with an immediate start date.
As part of your role as Accounts Payable Clerk you'll be responsible for the following:
Invoice Validation and authorization alongside goods receipt confirmation
Supplier payments
Handling queries with suppliers and managing conversations to deadlines to support business and suppliers needs
Purchase ordering
Supplier statement reconciliation and queries, obtain, reconcile, document and resolve reconciliations with third parties
Process improvementTo be successful for the role:
An understanding of VAT
Good understanding of Sage or other SME finance system purchase ledger processes
AAT or CCAB qualification is desirable
Excellent understanding of Purchase to Pay processes
Resilience and persistence
Excel and Microsoft experienceBenefits:
