Our exclusive client are looking to recruit an experienced AP Clerk for the growing and busy Accounts function based in Trafford Park. This is a really busy and varied role and is an excellent Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity for a growing business.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk you will oversee in the setting up of new suppliers to the business, maintaining the AP Ledger, the processing of internal expenses for the business as well as wider exposure into the finance and accounts function.
Key responsibilities include -
- New Supplier set up, including confirmation of supplier details and payment details and resolution of any anomalies
- Maintenance of the AP ledger including the coding and matching of invoices and managing the payment runs
- Overseeing and managing the day to day ledger, this includes ensuring there are no negative balances and reconciling the Ledger to balance sheet
- Processing and authorisation of internal expenses and ensuring all are paid in a timely manner
- Support the wider accounts function contributing new ideas and supporting the period end process and the cash flow forecasts
This is an really progressive role for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk who is looking for a varied role where they can add real value.
You will be an excellent communicator who has the ability and confidence to work independently where needed and collaboratively to support the businesses development.
