Accounts Payable Clerk
18-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Part-Time
Fully onsite
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:15am–3:00pm
Location: London
Salary: £40,000 per annum (full-time equivalent), pro rata
A financial services firm are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable assistant to to join their team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to support the business during the implementation of a new finance system.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage the registration and payment of supplier invoices.
Prepare weekly cash flow requirements, advising the Finance Director of payment needs by currency.
Code invoices accurately to the appropriate cost centres and departments using the SUN accounting system.
Provide information to support quarterly VAT returns.
Recharge Head Office costs to business units.
Arrange foreign currency conversions where required.
Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting financial data.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.The successful candidate will have previous accounts payable experience, strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a busy finance environment. Experience of SUN accounting software would be advantageous but is not essential.
