An opportunity has arisen for a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to join a busy finance team based in Central Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional seeking an immediate start within a supportive and fast-paced environment. Due to the nature of this role, this role will be office based for it's duration
As the Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be tasked with the following duties:
Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Matching, batching and coding invoices for payment
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving payment queries
Assisting with payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records
Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding account enquiriesAs the successful applicant, you will have previous experience working within an accounts payable or finance administration role. You will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage a busy workload effectively. Good communication skills and confidence using finance systems and Microsoft Excel are also essential.
