Michael Page are partnering with a leading manufacturing business in Cheshire that is investing heavily in finance transformation, automation and process improvement. As a result, they're looking to add an ambitious Accounts Payable Analyst to their finance team.

Client Details

As the Accounts Payable Analyst you'll join a complex, fast-paced business operating across multiple sites, where technology and continuous improvement are at the heart of the finance function. You'll play a key role in driving efficiency, improving controls and helping the business maximise the benefits of its AP systems and automation tools.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Analyst Include:

Managing end-to-end Accounts Payable processes across multiple entities
Working with invoice automation and OCR technology to improve processing efficiency
Investigating and resolving invoice exceptions and matching discrepancies
Supporting automated three-way matching processes
Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements
Supporting ongoing finance transformation and automation projects
Producing AP-related reporting and analysis
Ensuring robust controls and compliance across all AP activities

Profile

We're keen to speak with individuals who understand that modern Accounts Payable is about much more than invoice processing.

The successful Accounts Payable Analyst should have some of the following:

Invoice automation platforms
OCR technology
Auto-matching and three-way matching
ERP systems
Manufacturing, shared services or complex multi-site environments
Process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Confidence working with stakeholders across finance, procurement and operationsJob Offer
