We are looking for senior, hands on Accounts/Admin manager.
Our client is a steel product manufacturer, with revenues in excess of £100m, and manufacturing facilities right across the UK. This role is to based from at one of their key UK facilities with manufacturing, processing and distribution being based on site.
The successful applicant will be heavily involved in the day to day running of the finance / accounts and admin team, both in a hands on capacity and running a small team of 2-3 people.
This is a fast paced environment and business, and so the post holder will be driven and hardworking. They will also possess the experience and skills to manage the workload of others and assign work to the team members to successfully deliver work in a time fashion.
The position requires someone with strong communication skills, word, excel etc.
Key responsibilities
* Invoicing
* Creation of delivery notes for transport and picking lists for factory
* Account payments, account management and chasing overdue invoices
* Cash sales and pro-forma invoices, taking and chasing payments
* Account credit notes and credit card refunds
* Logging PODs
* Administering and monitoring stock levels of all products
* Purchase ledger and processing of purchase invoices
* Management reports
* Filing and archiving
* Ad hoc admin
