Accounts Manager

Accounts Manager required. Due to recent growth, they are seeking an Accounts Manager to join their welcoming and friendly team in Huddersfield. My client is a well-established accountancy practice, who work with a wide variety of clients in a number of different industries.

Accounts Manager Position Overview

Preparation and production of accounts and tax computations from clients records for mainly limited companies but occasionally sole traders and partnerships too
Preparation of periodic bookkeeping and management accounts
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Training and supervision of more junior members of the department
Company secretarial and general administration duties

The ideal candidate will be fully AAT qualified and have previous experience working in an accountancy practice environment.

Accounts Manager Position Requirements

AAT qualified (or qualified by experience)
Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
Knowledge of CCH, Sage and Xero accounting software would be ideal
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A highly organised individual
Ability to work well within a team

Accounts Manager Position Remuneration

£28,000-£35,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
20 days holiday + bank holidays
