Level: Finalist (1–2 exams remaining) or ideally Newly Qualified
A well-regarded mid-tier accountancy firm in Milton Keynes is looking to hire an Accounts & Audit Senior to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a genuine split of accounts preparation and audit work, with clear progression and exposure to a varied client base.
The roleYou’ll work across a broad portfolio (typically owner-managed businesses and groups), taking responsibility for:
Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies (and supporting schedules)
Supporting / leading on audit assignments from planning through to completion
Drafting file completion documents and assisting with management letters
Liaising directly with clients and helping to resolve queries efficiently
Supporting junior team members and reviewing work (depending on level)What we’re looking for
Proven accounts preparation experience within an accountancy practice
Strong audit experience (fieldwork through to completion)
ACA/ACCA: finalists with 1–2 exams remaining will be considered; newly qualified preferred
Confident communicator with good attention to detail and a client-first mindsetWhat’s on offer
£38,000–£42,000 depending on experience and qualification
