Chase & Holland are working with a fantastic, progressive firm of chartered accountants who are looking to recruit an ambitious Accounts/Audit Senior. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountancy professional with a background within practice to join a forward-thinking firm at an exciting time.

Responsibilities will include:

Maintaining an efficient and accurate accounting function
Preparing accounts to manager review stage (accruals, prepayments, stock and work in progress, deferred income etc.)
Resolve both internal and external queries as required
Auditing clients with turnovers varying from £10M - £100M
Maintaining meaningful working relationships with clients
The ideal candidate will be:

Ideally ACA/ACCA Qualified or very strong QBE
Strong IT skills – ideally experience of a variety of systems
The ability to prioritise workloads and to work to a high standard of accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
Good interpersonal and communication skills
