Description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to work for a local accountancy practice based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
You will be assigned a small portfolio of clients, where you will be responsible for day to day accounts duties, which include:
Processing sales and purchase invoices
Bank reconciliations
VAT Returns
Dealing with client queries
Working with the accountants to ensure accurate reporting
Other adhoc duties to support the team
Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience:
Ideally experience of working within an accountancy practice in a similar role
Experience of using Sage & Xero (ideally Xero)
Team player with a flexible attitude
