Description
Processing large volumes of Purchase Invoices, identifying and communicating associated queries internally and externally.
Reconciling supplier statements to our Accounts system records and contacting suppliers for missing invoices.
Handling calls and e-mails from suppliers, assisting the Purchase Ledger team as required.
Raising Purchase Orders from internal requisitions, ensuring adequate approvals obtained beforehand.
Ad-hoc duties as part of a busy accounts team and holiday cover as required.
Profile
Strong numeracy skills
Exceptional communication skills
Able to confidently navigate through MS Office programs including Excel & Outlook
Attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills - verbal and written.
Full Training Provided
May be working towards an accountancy degree Job Offer
Accounts Assistant
£22,500-£25,000 with annual pay reviews.
25 Days holiday plus bank holidays.
