Our client, a leading accounting company, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the finance department in various accounting tasks. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Salary - £23,000 to £27,000 p/a depending on experience.
Location - Cardiff
Working Hours - Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, Full-time and Permanent

Responsibilities:
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
Supporting with Bookkeeping duties
Processing invoices and payments accurately and timely
Handling accounts payable and receivable duties
Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
Performing data entry and maintaining financial records
Assisting in month-end and year-end closing activities
Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reportingRequirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within the accounting industry
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
