Description:
Our client is offering an excellent opportunity to join their busy accounts team. Reporting to the Accounts Manager, the Accounts Assistant will assist the team with the day-to-day financial operations of the identified companies in the group and provide support to the wider team as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Accounts Manager in the smooth operation and reconciliation of the Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledgers for the identified companies within the Group.
• Inputting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy.
• Processing BACS payments, purchase orders and invoice authorisation.
• Dealing with enquiries relating to purchases and suppliers.
• Generating sales invoices and responding to queries of customers.
• Responsible for the analysis and administrative tasks for the identified companies within the Group.
• Processing monthly CIS and quarterly VAT returns
• Support the Accounts Manager with any other ad hoc tasks/projects requested.
• To support all other finance functions across the companies.
• Work in line with all procedures and processes and support the audit and continuous improvement of the companies OHSQE integrated management system
