If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We're seeking a dynamic Accounts Assistant to join our bustling team in Tiptree, Essex; CO5 0JA.

As an Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities include entering all customer invoice emails into the appropriate Docuware folder for automated upload, posting customer bank receipts, printing or saving bank statements, and updating schedules for the Managing Director while providing hard copy reports to the Financial Controller. Your role also involves handling factory hours adjustments in Sage payroll, calculating overtime hours, saving and uploading weekly payroll reports, and backing up payroll data. You'll run month-end reports, save and act on period close instructions for accounts receivable, inventory, and accounts payable ledgers, and export Syspro ledger reports to MS Excel in the monthly accounts pack format. Furthermore, you'll post hours and adjustments for salaried office staff in Sage payroll, liaise with the appropriate authorities, provide rebate calculation schedules for review, update P11D expenses on a monthly schedule, provide delivery notes for accreditation administration, maintain a petty cash summary schedule, and procuring stationery and refreshments are included tasks.

Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent

Accounts Assistant Requirements:

MS Office Package  (MS Excel and MS Word), MS Outlook
Minimum GCSE English and Mathematics
Previous administrative experience
A good understanding of how posting entries into the receivables, payables and cashbook ledgers effects the general ledger within the framework of double entry book-keeping.
Confident in completing relevant tasks relating to this role.
Proficient at using MS Excel to produce intermediate level reports. (must be able to efficiently manipulate, and sort data)
Experienced in using accounting software packages.
Able to use MS Outlook and to compose suitable business format emails.
Skilled MS Office O365 suite user.
Able to setup MS Teams and zoom meetings for others.
Excellent numerical abilities.
Good written and verbal communication.
Accounts Assistant Benefits:
