Role: Accounts Assistant
Salary: Up to £31,000

Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Office-Based
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hardworking Accounts Assistant to join our client, a well-established business. You’ll play a key role within the finance team, supporting the day-to-day accounts function and transactional duties, including invoice processing, VAT, CIS and payroll.
Responsibilities
* Process purchase and subcontractor invoices
* Process payroll & subcontractor payments
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
* Bank reconciliations
* Prepare and submit CIS returns and VAT returns
* Ensure compliance with HMRC and construction industry regulations
* Support month-end and year-end accounting processes
* Provide wider support to the finance team and contribute to ad hoc finance tasks as required
What we’re looking for
* Experience working as an Accounts Assistant or transactional finance role
* Interest in working for a construction business
* Good Excel skills
* A hardworking individual with a strong work ethic
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
