Description:
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Accounts Assistant at a very well-established company based in the Dartford area. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's financial records, managing expenses and ensuring the accounting department operates efficiently and effectively.
Duties Include:
Entering supplier invoices for project costing and ensuring correct nominal code, VAT treatment, sums and dates
Updating spreadsheets to reflect invoices and ensuring accuracy is a top priority
Entry of all other overhead invoices
Setting up suppliers and completing credit forms
Reconciling statements
Submit remittances to suppliers and allocating payments on accounts
Processing payments
Managing credit card payments and investigating any missing invoices
Exporting data to excel to check CIS Tax, Job numbers etc.
Assisting with all elements of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control
This is not an exhaustive list of duties and more responsibilities will be discussed.
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience in a similar position
Have excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
Be motivated and not afraid to tackle any task at hand
