An opportunity has arisen to join a leading education organisation based in Cambridge as an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis. This role has become available due to additional workload, and will be for a period of 7 months. Within this role you will report into the Finance Manager. The role will be hybrid working, with 2 days worked in the office and 3 from home, however you will be required to be on site for the first 2-3 weeks to help with onboarding.
As the Accounts Assistant you will be tasked with the following duties:
- Assisting other departments with invoice queries
- Managing the internal finance inbox
- Assisting with month end duties
- Additional ad hoc duties as required
As the successful candidate you will have similar experience working in a finance role, with strong knowledge of excel and accounting systems. This role deals with multiple internal stakeholders, so strong communication skills are a must have.
