Our client is a leading testing company who have been established for over 20 years. They are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their dedicated accounts team in Rye, East Sussex.
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience of data entry, have a good working knowledge of spreadsheets and an excellent attention to detail. Previous experience of using Oracle software is not essential as full training will be provided however is desirable.
As an Accounts Assistant you will be inputting data to the accounting software, reviewing data to ensure accuracy of data input as well as updating of spreadsheets and files and providing support to the accounts department.
Due to the location of the role, own transport is required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
* Demonstrable experience in a similar position
* Possess an excellent attention to detail
* Have a good working knowledge of spreadsheets
* Be computer literate
* Ability to work quickly and accurately
* Experience using Oracle software is desirable however full training will be provided
Your duties as an Accounts Assistant would be:
* Data entry
* Reviewing data to ensure accuracy of data input
* Updating of spreadsheets and files
* Providing support to the accounts department
* Any other general administration duties required
Salary:
£25,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours:
* 3 – 4 days per week to start and will increase to full time
* 9am – 5pm
* Temp to Perm position
