Accounts Assistant

Are you passionate about meticulous financial management? We're looking for an Accounts Administrator to join a small and friendly team in Dorking.

Responsibilities:

Receipts:
Dive into the heart of financial transactions by managing daily receipts with precision.
Ensure seamless processing of cheques and banking tasks, keeping records accurate and up-to-date.
Invoicing:
Take charge of tenant accounts, ensuring accuracy in financial dealings.
Issue invoices promptly and professionally, keeping operations running smoothly.
Arrears:
Be a problem-solving hero by managing accounts of tenants in arrears with empathy and efficiency.
Chase outstanding payments diligently, ensuring financial health remains strong.
Direct Debits and Standing Orders:
Showcase your organizational prowess by administering collections via direct debit and standing orders.
Manage lessee information with finesse, ensuring processes are seamless and hassle-free.
Tenant Records:
Become the guardian of tenant records, maintaining accuracy and integrity in our client's systems.
Navigate property transfers and re-mortgages with ease, ensuring records remain up-to-date and comprehensive.
Reserve Accounts:
Take ownership of reserve or rent deposit accounts, ensuring financial stability and security.
Reports:
Flex your analytical muscles by generating insightful financial reports as needed.
Office Enquiries:
Be the friendly face of our clients' accounts department, handling enquiries with professionalism and care.
Bank Reconciliation:
Ensure financial records are in harmony by reconciling cashbooks with bank statements.
Invoice Payment:
Manage the payment process seamlessly, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently.
Year End Accounts:
Contribute to the preparation of Property Year End Accounts, showcasing your attention to detail.
Checking of Statements:
Review clients' statements meticulously, ensuring accuracy and reliability.Requirements:

Previous experience in accounting, finance or property management preferred.
Proficiency in relevant software and banking systems.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
