Description:
An exciting opportunity to join a growing and supportive finance team as an Accounts Assistant. This is a varied role ideal for someone with previous finance or accounts experience who is looking to develop their skills within a busy and professional environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Assisting with day-to-day finance and accounts activities.

Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently.

Assisting with purchase and sales ledger activities.
*
Processing payments and updating financial records.
*
Completing bank reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies.
*
Supporting with month-end processes and general finance administration.
*
Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring information is entered in a timely manner.
*
Assisting with the preparation and organisation of financial information.
*
Using accounting systems and Excel to process, analyse and maintain financial data.
*
Providing general support to the wider finance and accounts team.
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar finance role.

A good understanding of general accounting and finance processes.
*
Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems.
*
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
*
Good organisational and time management skills.
*
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
