PRIMARY PURPOSE
One of our Hertford based clients require a Temporary Accounts Assistant to support the Financial Accountant with all daily, weekly, monthly and annual finance tasks and procedures.
In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable and receivable, maintaining strong relationships with both colleagues and suppliers.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Day-to-day accounting duties
• Getting packs ready for the Auditor
• Bank Reconciliations
• Manage Balance Sheets
• General accounts queries - Investigating and liaising with other departments;
• Maintaining accurate electronic filing.
• Month and year end procedures and audits.
• Produce internal and external reports as required.
• Any other tasks required by the Financial Controller.
SKILLS
• AAT qualified or CIMA/ACCA studier
• Good knowledge of Cash Book and Bank Reconciliations
• Experience of working within a multi departmental AP system
• Experience working in a fast paced environment
• Comfortable working to deadlines
• Highly organised and proactive with attention to detail
• Good knowledge of Excel/Microsoft
