Accounts Assistant - Waterlooville - £28,000-£35,000
Accounts Assistant required to join a well-established engineering company in Waterlooville, reporting to the Head of Finance.
As the successful Accounts Assistant you will join a team of 3, and will be responsible for the accounts receivable ledger, as well as assisting with finance activities, including accounts payable, management accounts and financial analysis.
The Package:
Salary - £28,000 - £35,000
Office based
Working Hours - 8:00-16:30 (Monday - Friday)
22 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with length of service)
Pension 3%
Bonus Scheme based on company performance
The Role:
Actively ensuring customer debt is paid on time by obtaining payment confirmations.
Chasing any overdue debt.
Raising customer invoices and applications for projects team.
Tracking and raising invoices, ensuring timelines are met on any contractor jobs which require applications for works complete.
Integrating with the projects team to ensure Gross Profit stays on track and any risks are identified quickly
Management Accounting, including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and budget management
Managing the Accounts mailbox (alongside Finance Manager)
Requirements:
Must have experience owning and managing an accounts receivable ledger.
Must have experience of reporting and analysis.
