Pay rate: £13.00-£16.00 based on experience.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pmHRGO Recruitment are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Assistant to join our clients Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable and credit control, with a understanding of financial processes and principles. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment and contribute to the overall success of the finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist with credit control activities, including monitoring customer accounts and following up on overdue payments.
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
Provide support to the Finance Manager as needed.Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in accounts payable and credit control
Strong understanding of financial processes and principles
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
