Accounts Assistant (Temporary)
Location: Oxford
Rate: £16 - £18 per hour
Contract: 3 months
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Office-based
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a temporary Accounts Assistant to support a busy finance team based in Oxford. This is a varied role covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general finance administration.
Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase invoices and matching against purchase orders
Preparing payment runs and reconciling supplier statements
Raising sales invoices and allocating payments
Chasing outstanding debts and resolving queries
Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
Supporting month-end and general finance tasks
Requirements
Previous Accounts Assistant, Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience
Experience processing invoices and completing reconciliations
Good Excel skills and previous experience using accounting software
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities
