Description:
Our successful manufacturing client based in Peterborough is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a fulltime permanent basis. Reporting into the FC and being part of a team of 4 people in finance. The company has seen record periods of growth recently and currently T/O £28m.
The main duties will include:
* Looking after the fixed assets alongside the inter-company accounting processes
* Assist with analysing and preparing monthly margin analysis with commercial interpretation of the numbers
* Balance sheet reconciliations and subsequent variance analysis
* Support the continued improvement of processes and systems
* Support the Accounts Payable & receivable
* Production of journals for prepayments and accruals.
* Regular assistance with month end accounts production.
* Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
* Audit assistance when required + other general office duties.
* Responsibility for updating exchange rates in ERP system.
* Maintenance of Fixed Assets Register
* Management of Company’s Cash-flow.
* Assisting with payroll
To be considered for this role you will be working in a similar role within finance and ideally studying towards qualifications and the company will offer full study support after a successful probation period.
The role is Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5pm and an early finish of 4pm on a Friday (39hours a week)
