Accounts and Audit Senior

An award-winning, family-owned independent firm of Chartered Accountants employing over 60 accounting professionals from two offices in Northamptonshire is looking for a motivated and talented Accounts and Audit Senior. Along with a salary of up to £49,000 per annum, you will also receive a profit-sharing bonus scheme, work-life and work-study balance, agile working, and on the job training.

What you’ll do as Accounts and Audit Senior: 

You will be primarily supporting the Senior Management in looking after and building meaningful relationships with a range of clients. The role will be supplemented with more traditional accountancy/tax where you’d handle a regular portfolio of clients and develop your own relationships with them. You’ll be supported by a team of assistants who currently have a varied role, but the intention is to build a dedicated team in audit. You’ll play a key role in the development of this team and the training of junior audit staff.

We are looking for an Accounts and Audit Senior who has the following skills and experiences:

Previous audit experience within a practice.
Previous experience as a Senior or Semi- Senior Accountant within practice.
A strong background in Audit generally, as well as Accounts preparation / disclosure.
Previous experience in training and developing junior staff.
