Accounts Administrator Belfast

Hours of Work: 25 hours per week, flexible schedule between Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

CRP Group are currently working with a national hydraulics market leader seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join the team. If you are a highly motivated self-starter who brings professionalism and commitment to your work, we want to hear from you!

As an Accounts Administrator, you will provide essential support to all organisations within the group. You will be responsible for maintaining accounts, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate financial records. This role requires minimal supervision and a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain Xero Accounts Software: Ensure the smooth operation of the accounting system.

* Invoice Processing: Handle sales and purchase invoices efficiently.

* Month-End Journals & Reconciliation: Process month-end journals and reconcile transactions.

* Bank Reconciliation: Track bank deposits and payments and reconcile bank statements.

* Purchase Invoices: Prepare and process purchase invoices for payment, ensuring appropriate approval.

* Payment Allocation: Correctly allocate payments to customer accounts.

* Credit Card Receipts: Process and manage credit card receipts.

* Timesheet Validation: Collate and validate technician’s timesheets.

* Invoice Management: Ensure all invoices are posted accurately and timely.

* Credit Control: Manage credit control to ensure timely payments.

* Customer & Supplier Queries: Answer calls and handle queries from customers, staff, and suppliers.

* Record Maintenance: Maintain and update customer and supplier records.

What Will Help You Excel:

* IT Skills: Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

* Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy in all tasks.

* Accounts Software Experience: Demonstrable experience using accounts software (Xero experience is a plus but not essential).

* Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an office environment.

* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Flexibility: Willingness to be involved in a variety of tasks.

* Initiative & Teamwork: Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

* Time Management: Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
