Accounts Assistant

Salary: Up to £27,000 (DOE) + Benefits - Hybrid Working, Annual Bonus, Pension, On-Site Parking

Location: Deeside Area

Duration: Permanent (35.5 hours per week)

Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit an Accounts Assistant for a highly ambitious and market leading Manufacturing business based in the Deeside Area. The business has gone through significant growth in the last 10 years, with turnover increasing from £2m to £26m, with targets of achieving £60m Turnover by 2026. Due to this sustained organic growth an exciting opportunity has arisen within their busy finance department.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, this Accounts Assistant position will play a key role in the day to day running of the business to ensure company financials are maintained to the highest quality. The role will be ever evolving and there is scope to move into different areas of finance as the business establishes subsidiaries in the US and Europe.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will include:

Taking ownership of the Bank Reconciliations
Processing Supplier Statement Reconciliations
Managing the Credit Control procedures
Processing a small payroll
Processing Supplier Legers and Purchase invoices
Other Ad-hoc/project work as requiredThe ideal Accounts Assistant will have:

Either wanting to study or working towards a professional qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA)
Excellent communication skills and comfortable working with all areas of the business
Effective time management with experience of working in a fast-paced/changing environment
The ability to pick up new systems quickly (use of SAP is preferred but not essential)
A willingness to learn and develop as the role evolves
