We are delighted to be partnered with our friendly, professional and established client as they seek to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join their experienced team within their offices close to Burgess Hill. This is an excellent opportunity to join a very established company.

Accounts Administrator

Full time permanent role - office based

Mon-Thu (Apply online only) and Fri (Apply online only)

Role based close to Burgess Hill. Due to rural location of the offices, you will need to be a driver and have your own transport. There is plenty of free parking on site for all staff.

Salary £24000-£25000 per annum, depending on experience plus excellent all round company benefits

The role - Accounts Assistant

The accounts assistant will work alongside a small accounts team to produce monthly management accounts, fulfil statutory requirements such as VAT returns, and complete monthly tasks such as bank reconciliations and credit control. This is very much a processing role in the accounts department of a multi-national, multi-currency company.

The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, detail-orientated, and able to work to strict deadlines. They would also have good Excel skills and some experience working in an accounts department.

Duties will include:

Process supplier invoices

Maintain cash-books in multiple currencies

Maintain cash-flow forecasts in multiple currencies

Arrange and process payment runs

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts

Credit control

Produce VAT returns

Maintain exchange rates

Assist in monthly payroll

Handle customer & supplier finance queries

General office admin

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

Good Excel skills

Good written and oral communication skills

Have own means of transportation (due to rural workplace location)
