Accounts Administrative Assistant
£20,000 - £22,000 + Annual Bonus

A highly sought-after opportunity to work a fast paced, challenging and exciting environment with a Northeast based Roofing, Cladding and Glazing company who have over 30 years’ experience within the industry. Due to an increase in workload my client has identified the needs for a new Accounts Administration Assistant to join the team.
The successful candidate will be working directly with Admin Manager on all accounts queries and will be responsible for managing Payroll and CIS.
An annual bonus is paid in October to all employees (provided targets are met) based off of the company profits which has averaged over £1000 over the last few years.
The Duties
* Purchase ledger including invoices, reconciliations and payments.
* Sales and credit control.
* Customer and supplier query resolution.
* Bank reconciliations.
* Intercompany reconciliations.
* Perform clerical duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and organizing files and documents.
* Assist with data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
* Help to provide an efficient, professional service to meet all client needs and to promote the company brand.
* Using the company system to input and update both individual, company and transport records.
* Quality checking documents and reports.
* Archiving, filing, photocopying and scanning.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant within a is desired.
* Previous experience within a construction company is desired.
* Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role is desired however not a requirement for this role as full in office training will be provided.
* Proficient in using Microsoft office.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
* Self-motivated and driven to carry out all duties to a high standard.
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships, and to communicate at all levels both internally and externally.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
