Role: Accountant (Accountancy Firm)
Salary: Up to £33,000
Location: Leicester LE5
I am partnered with an Accountancy Firm in Leicester who are looking to add an Accountant to their team.
Due to company growth, they are looking to add to their accountancy team, you’ll be looking after your own portfolio of clients, looking after accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and tax.
Role responsibilities:
* Managing your own portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
* Attending client meetings when necessary to update them on their accounts and finances
* VAT, Tax, book keeping and management accounts
* Managing your own diary, ensuring your providing a thorough, efficient and client focused service
* Being a mentor for more junior staff, assisting them when necessary
Skills required/desired:
* Experience working as an accountant for a minimum of 3 years
* Methodical and detail focused
* Comfortable communicating with clients, ability to manage your own client portfolio
* Working knowledge of VAT, tax, bookkeeping, management accounts
* Highly organised
