Accountant - Bookkeeper

London Electrical Solutions is a growing Electrical Contracting business based in Greenwich. Due to our continued growth and success we are looking to recruit an Accountant/ Bookkeeper to join our successful team.
Profile Summary
The successful person we are looking for will possess great people skills and have a good eye for detail. You'll be organised, have strong numeracy skills along with an excellent telephone manner and the ability to multi task. This is a broad and diverse finance role which will present plenty of interesting challenges.
Job Description Summary
This is an office based role within our accounts team. This role would suit someone who is comfortable dealing with customers everyday via email and over the phone so must have the confidence to do so.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
* Education - Professional qualifications such as AAT would be advantageous but not required.
* Software Skills - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero. We work with Xero.
* Attention to detail - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
* Organisational skills - Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
* Communication - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
* Analytical Skills - Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
* Team Player - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
The successful person will have a strong work ethic, a good sense of humour and be motivated to help the business grow.
