Assistant Accountant job in Gloucestershire

Your new role

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Assisting with the production of year-end financial statements.
Processing bookkeeping records using cloud-based accounting software.
Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Assisting with management accounts preparation.
Reconciling bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
Maintaining accurate client records and working papers.
Liaising with clients to obtain information and answer routine queries.
Supporting senior team members with ad hoc accounting assignments.
Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience within an accountancy practice or finance environment.
AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and develop within the profession.What you need to do now
