Account Manager (Technical background) - Facilities Services Management

Alba Facilities Services Ltd offers a unique and thrilling chance to become part of our Account Manager team in Glasgow.

That is why we are trialling a 4 day work week; the successful candidate will receive a salary equivalent to working 5 days (40 hours) in return for working 4 days (34 hours) per week. We are on the lookout for a seasoned Account Manager to oversee our multi-site operations. Answerable to the Board of Directors, the perfect candidate will possess a technical background (ideally in Air Conditioning) and be responsible for the successful execution of our contracts. The role encompasses managing contract service, delivery, and P&L and coordinating with clients and operational teams to ensure top-tier service across the board. Your technical acumen will be crucial in providing support and fostering a culture of excellence, transparency, and ongoing continuous improvement. Key responsibilities

* Main point of contact for specific contracts

* Build strong client relationships

* Generate and oversee larger project plans, tenders, quotes with realistic timelines and agreed profit margins

* Generate sales with existing clients

* Build, maintain and improve positive supplier and sub-contractor relationships

* Achieve agreed contract profit margins

* Work within agreed works (labour and parts) budgets, taking appropriate and timely action where necessary

* Support a strong health and safety culture

* Provide technical support to engineers and helpdesk as required

* Support a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications and skills

* Proven experience in a similar FM environemnt - multi- site preferred

* Technical background (Air conditioning preferred) essential

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Previous budgetary control experience

* Demonstrable organisational skills

* Self motivated and results oriented

* Proven ability to work collaboratively
