Salary & Benefits: £45,000 - £60,000 DEO + commission + benefits

Location: Merseyside, North West

The ideal candidate:

MDE is in search of a skilled communicator with a flair for fostering strong customer relationships and adept at collaborating to ensure customer success in the energy and water industry. With at least five years of experience, the ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of customer needs, a natural talent for teamwork and stakeholder engagement, and a commitment to driving business growth.

The candidate should be a self-motivated organiser with a passion for service excellence, capable of guiding businesses towards a sustainable future. Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the complete customer lifecycle including contract initiation, renewals, and issue resolution, serving as the main point of contact for energy and sustainability services.
Collaborate across company functions to ensure stakeholder alignment on customer success strategies and objectives.
Cultivate and nurture customer relationships through regular visits and communications, understanding their needs to foster business growth and loyalty.
Manage and maintain detailed documentation and account records within the service agreement framework, ensuring accurate tracking of customer interactions and progress.
Stay informed on industry changes and advancements in energy and sustainability to provide knowledgeable support and guidance to UK businesses.
Engage in proactive business development by identifying and recommending tailored products and opportunities for upselling, while guiding customers on their sustainability journeys towards Carbon Net Zero.

Requirements for Success:

Proven track record in the energy and water industry, with 5+ years' experience in roles such as Account Manager / Project Manager / Business Development.
Strong academic background.
Exceptional communication and presentation capabilities, both in writing and verbally.
Highly self-motivated with excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
Understanding of flexible procurement and sustainability.
