Our client, a global engineering technology business, are looking for an Account Manager - Electronic Components to join their team on a permanent basis covering the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to take ownership of the UK&I territory, developing new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships across a range of engineering markets. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, supported by an established international team.
Key responsibilities of the Account Manager - Electronic Components job covering the UK:
Develop and manage key customer accounts across the UK & Ireland.
Identify and secure new business opportunities within target engineering markets.
Build long-term relationships with customers, providing commercial and technical support.
Grow market share across sectors including aerospace, defence and industrial engineering.
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to negotiation and account development.
Work closely with technical sales, marketing and international colleagues to support customer requirements.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and identify opportunities for continued business growth.
Represent the business professionally at customer meetings and industry events as required.
Experience required for the Account Manager - Electronic Components job covering the UK:
Proven track record in technical sales, account management or business development.
Experience selling into engineering or electronics markets.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Experience managing and growing customer relationships.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK & Ireland.
