Description:

My client are seeking a dynamic, successful Account Manager with proven track record in key account management, looking for a new challenge with a leading industrial Micro Battery manufacturer for a highly successful, globally recognised company. You will be working as part of a team, managing key business accounts, and developing new business opportunities for the Industrial division. As well as strong account management skills, you will be comfortable at face-to-face meetings at a corporate level from procurement to Director. This is a hybrid role, that will require some European business travel.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of assigned business accounts to agreed sales targets, developing strong relationships with key customers.
Support the development of new business and revenue opportunities, identifying USP, value creation and high customer relationships. This includes European travel.
Represent / attend on behalf of the company at key Industry trade exhibitions, when required.
Report sales progress reporting on a weekly or monthly basis or as required by line management, and need to be at HQ office when line management requires.
Collate market and customer information and feedback opportunities to management on a regular basis.
Accept other tasks or projects as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

Essential:

Account manager with demonstrable face-to-face meeting experience and sales achievement in the business-to-business market.
Plan and prepare strategic key account strategies.
Good communication skills, and good level of IT competence
Must hold full passport and UK driving licence for business travel.
Fluent English language, both written and spoken, to service key EU business accounts to maximum potential
Desirable:

An ability to present to varying audiences including using Microsoft PowerPoint.
An ability to research business information using various methodologies.
An intermediate level of computer literacy with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Possess sales experience across one or more EU countries, outside of the UK.
Current or previous key account management experience within the Industrial / business to business sector
Experience working as Key Account Manager for a Japanese / Asian region-based technology
organisation.
Qualification: Evidence of sales experience working at Account Manager level with either corporates, multiples, distributors or large retailers across Europe.
