We are recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to join a successful and established business based in Derby, specialising in display, print and visual communications.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and account management skills who enjoys building relationships, managing customer requirements and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.

The role will suit someone who is organised, commercially minded and confident dealing with customers, taking ownership of enquiries and ensuring projects run smoothly from initial enquiry through to completion.

The Role

As Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Managing and developing relationships with existing customers.

Handling incoming telephone calls, emails and customer enquiries.

Preparing quotations, estimating costs and specifying customer requirements.

Understanding customer briefs and recommending suitable products and solutions.

Coordinating projects and booking work into production.

Liaising with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required standard.

Resolving customer queries and dealing with any issues professionally.

Identifying opportunities to generate additional business and increase sales.

Providing a consistently high level of customer service throughout the customer journey.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience in an Account Manager, Sales Coordinator or Customer Service role.

Experience within the print, signage, display, graphics or manufacturing sectors would be advantageous.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

The ability to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions.

Experience preparing quotations, estimating or specifying products would be beneficial.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and projects.

A proactive, positive approach with a genuine desire to deliver great customer service.

A commercial mindset and the ability to recognise opportunities to develop accounts.

What's on Offer?

Salary of £33,000 - £37,000, depending on experience.
