Description:
A growing manufacturing business based in Bedford is looking for an Account Manager to join its established sales team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in industrial, manufacturing, commodity or materials sales who enjoys building relationships with customers and developing existing business.
You’ll work closely with the Sales Manager and wider team, managing customer accounts while identifying opportunities to increase sales and develop new business.
The Role
* Managing and developing a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
* Building strong relationships with customers and understanding their requirements.
* Identifying opportunities to grow accounts, generate repeat business and introduce additional products.
* Preparing quotations, negotiating with customers and following opportunities through to order.
* Working closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive a high level of service.
About You
You may currently be working as an Account Manager, Business Developer or Sales Executive and be looking for the next step in your career.
We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident speaking with customers and motivated by developing business. You’ll be proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
