Shropshire Stainless and Aluminium Ltd (SSA) is a large UK multi-metals stockholder of stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, and bronze products. Supplying a large range of customers across a varied supply chain, we deliver to the whole of the UK and Ireland from our Shrewsbury Headquarters with additional locations in Yate near Bristol & Lurgan in Northern Ireland.

You will be working from our Shrewsbury site as part of an experienced sales team, delivering great customer service. As an Account Manager you will work with the current staff to learn about the essential operations of the business.

Account Manager Skills & Qualifications

* A confident, ambitious individual who enjoys a challenge and is target-driven.

* Must be a team player.

* Well-presented and articulate.

* A good communicator, face-to-face, on the phone, and via email.

* Has good IT skills and good attention to detail.

* Product knowledge of the nonferrous metals industry would be an advantage, but not essential.

Account Manager Responsibilities

* Complete a small training program by learning about sales administration and essential sales functions on iMetal, a computer application.

* Developing product knowledge to start selling to customers.

* Helping other sales team members with securing orders.

* Work together with the sales team to reach sales targets.

* Develop good customer relationships via email, phone calls, and possible visits to customers' businesses.

This is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives.

Hours

* 40 Hours per week, Permanent Position

* Working Hours: 8.30 am-5.30 pm Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour unpaid break.
