Description:

Account Manager

£35,000-£40,000 Basic + £5,000–£10,000 OTE

Premium Building Products | Account Management | Career Progression

We’re delighted to be partnering with a market-leading name within the premium building products sector, recognised for delivering high-quality products across residential and commercial projects.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an ambitious Account Manager to join their commercial team and take responsibility for developing existing customers, converting inbound opportunities and maximising revenue.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships and selling, but doesn’t want to spend their entire day cold calling for new business.

The Role

1. As an Account Manager, you’ll work closely with contractors, architects and other industry professionals, becoming a trusted commercial contact and helping them find the right solutions for their projects.

2. You’ll be representing a globally recognised brand with a strong reputation in its market. Your focus will be on providing an excellent service while identifying opportunities to grow accounts and increase revenue.

3. You’ll manage a mixture of existing customers, inbound leads and new enquiries, following opportunities from initial conversation through to quotation and sale.

4. Day to day, you’ll be speaking with customers over the phone and email, attending occasional face-to-face meetings, preparing commercial proposals and keeping on top of live projects and opportunities.

5. You’ll also work closely with the wider Account Management team on the company’s growth strategy and maintain an accurate sales pipeline using HubSpot.

What Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for someone commercially driven who enjoys developing relationships and wants to build a successful career within B2B sales.

Ideally, you’ll have:

* Previous B2B sales or account management experience

* At least 2 years' experience within a commercial environment

* Experience managing and developing existing customer relationships

* A proven ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs

* Confidence converting inbound leads and enquiries into sales

* Strong telephone, email and face-to-face communication skills

* The ability to identify opportunities to increase customer spend

* Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills

* Experience using a CRM system such as HubSpot

* Strong organisation and pipeline management skills

* A proactive and resilient approach to sales

* The ambition to progress into a more senior sales or account management role

Experience within building products, construction, architecture or a related sector would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.

Package

£35,000 – £40,000 basic salary, depending on experience, with an additional £5,000–£10,000 OTE in year one.

Benefits include early finishes on Fridays, quarterly team nights out, regular office competitions and activities, free parking, mental health support and flexibility around home and family life.

Most importantly, you’ll be joining an established, successful business with a premium product range, a strong reputation and genuine opportunities to develop your career.
