Account Manager
Location: Salford
Salary: Circa £35,000 - £45,000
Mpeople Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading manufacturer based in Salford who are seeking to add an Account Manager to their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high level of customer service, acting as a key liaison between the business and its clients. The role will involve managing and developing existing accounts, building strong client relationships, and ensuring consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop existing customer accounts.
* Prepare quotes, negotiate costs, and coordinate orders and retail campaigns across the UK and EU.
* Manage client projects from initial order through to delivery.
* Coordinate material purchasing and production requirements.
* Maintain clear client communication, resolving queries and issues promptly.
* Escalate client needs and concerns to senior management where required.
* Conduct post-delivery follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Work with Sales and Marketing to identify customer needs, market trends and opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
* Previous sales or customer service experience, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
* Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative.
* A collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
