Account Director – Building Services
Location: Central London
Salary: Up to £90,000 + package
We are currently seeking an experienced Account Director with a strong building services and engineering background to lead a key facilities management contract in Central London.
This is a senior client-facing position with responsibility for overall contract performance, operational delivery, commercial management, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership across a major building services / facilities management contract.

Take overall responsibility for contract performance, service delivery, KPIs, SLAs, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Lead and develop engineering and facilities management teams, ensuring high standards of operational performance.
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.
*
Oversee budgets, P&L performance, commercial management, and contract profitability.
*
Identify opportunities for contract growth, additional services, projects, and continuous improvement.
*
Ensure effective management of planned and reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, and critical engineering systems.
*
Lead performance reviews and present operational and commercial information to senior stakeholders.
*
Manage subcontractors and supply-chain partners to ensure consistent service delivery.
*
Drive a strong culture of health & safety, compliance, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement.
About You
*
Strong background in building services, engineering, or facilities management.
*
Previous experience in a senior contract, account, or operational management position.
*
Proven experience managing client relationships and large engineering/FM teams.
*
Strong commercial and financial awareness, including experience managing budgets and contract performance.
*
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
*
Relevant engineering or facilities management qualification is desirable.
Salary: Up to £90,000 + benefits/package
