Newstaff Employment Services are looking for an Account Clerk to join a growing company based in Bletchley.
Description:
Experienced in using accounting software [Xero would be an advantage]
Inputting invoices from suppliers onto the accounting system
Verifying invoices are correct and raise queries if required.
Chasing responses/credit notes
Assist with quarterly VAT returns and end of year accounts.
Check prices and tax codes are correct against information on the system.
Respond to enquiries from suppliers and customers.
Answering the calls in a professional manner
Perform additional tasks/duties as assigned by the management team to support with overall objectives within the business.
You must:
Be computer literate and able to learn new systems quickly and effectively.
Possess excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
Good level of English
Must be passionate with figures.
Accuracy and good attention to detail
Capable of working in a small team as well as work alone to complete all tasks.
Happy to undertake additional tasks when required.
Details:
Hours of work 9am-5pm
Monday to Friday
Weekly pay with holiday accruement
Hourly rate: £11.50ph-£12.50ph dependant on experience
