Accommodation Support Officer

Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? Do you have the resilience and empathy needed to support individuals from diverse backgrounds? We’re looking for committed Accommodation Support Officers to join our team and provide vital support to participants with their housing needs.

In this role, you will manage a caseload of adult males either residing in custody. Working in close partnership with probation practitioners, you will carry out initial assessments to understand each individual’s circumstances and develop tailored accommodation plans through a series of agreed interventions. You'll be required to help participants navigate housing challenges, ensure they are kept informed of decisions that affect them, and support their understanding of their rights throughout the process.

We welcome applicants from a variety of professional backgrounds, including social services, mental health, education, or those who have recently graduated and are seeking experience in the criminal justice sector. Hours: 37hrs per week No shift work and No weekend work

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain contact with participants, identifying any emerging risks and concerns

Skills & Experience
