NEW ACCIDENT MANAGEMENT ENGINEER REQUIRED FOR FLEET MANAGEMENT COMPANY BASED NEAR KINGSTON

Do you have previous experience in body shop estimating, insurance claims or accident management?

Do you come from an engineer, auditor or repairer background and have previous experience of Audatex?

Our client is a dedicated independent services company actively seeking an Accident & Maintenance Engineer to audit repair estimates with a focus on method, cost & vehicle downtime as well as carry out administration within their Accident & Management Department.

Based at the Company’s Head Office in Thames Ditton the Accident & Maintenance Engineer role is a pivotal and high profile position that would be an ideal move for someone from an engineer, auditor or repairer background with good knowledge of Audatex and a summary of the duties involved appear

Ensure engineer costings are accurate and justified & that accident telephone calls are dealt with promptly and efficiently

Ensure all accident details are recorded and updated with incident details from claim forms

Liaise with other departments to ensure efficient recovery of un-driveable vehicles to the approved repairer network

Instruct the approved repairer network to arrange estimates in relation to each claim

Ensure adequate communication between repairer and drivers in respect of loan cars and repair bookings

Liaise with Rental Services department on damage claims to hire vehicles, ensuring claims for damage are realistic and justified

Process accident claims and handle Total Loss claims

Arranging valuations, salvage bids/classifications and disposals

Progress each claim accurately to ensure work is completed in the specified time-scale

Liaise with Business Partners on new and existing claims

Process accident repair invoices for payment and recharge, ensuring that the amounts invoiced

Ensure reports are run and completed for Client Review meetings

Complete claims experience letters

Help and advise all areas of the business with technical and procedural questions and generally to maintain a professional attitude, building and maintaining relationships both internally & externally

Applications for this exciting high profile role are especially invited from candidates with an in depth recent experience in Insurance Claims or Accident Management ideally within the same or similar industry sector. Applications from candidates with an engineer, auditor or repairer background who have previous experience of Audatex would be especially welcome.
