Pay:  Up to £44.50 per hour

Contract: Full-Time Locum

Our client, a prominent Local Authority Children's Services department in Central London, is seeking an experienced Access to Resources Team Manager to join their dynamic team. Committed to providing high-quality care and support to children and young people, our client aims to ensure that every child has access to placements and resources tailored to their individual needs.

Role Overview:

As the Access to Resources Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating efforts to secure suitable placements and support services for children and young people in need. Working closely with the Placement Quality Assurance Team and responding swiftly to referrals from Social Work Teams, you will lead a team dedicated to ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Placement Quality Assurance Team to assess the needs of children and young people.

Respond promptly to referrals from Social Work Teams seeking placements and support services.

Coordinate efforts to identify and secure appropriate placements aligned with assessed needs.

Liaise with external providers and agencies to explore available resources and support options.

Ensure that placements are proportionate to the assessed needs of children and young people.

Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members to ensure effective service delivery.

Monitor and evaluate the quality of placements and support services, recommending improvements as necessary.
