Access Control Engineer
Location: London & Home Counties
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: Between £35000 - £45000 + Overtime + Call-Out + Pension
We are currently looking for an experienced Access Control Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience in access control and integrated security systems to work across a variety of commercial and high-end residential projects throughout London and the surrounding Home Counties.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
Installation, servicing and maintenance of access control systems
Installation and maintenance of CCTV systems
Door entry system installation and fault finding
Intruder alarm installation, servicing and reactive maintenance
Gates, barriers and integrated security systems
Fault finding, testing and commissioning
Reactive call-outs and planned maintenance visits
Completing service reports and maintaining high standards of customer service
We aim to schedule engineers' work in advance wherever possible, although emergency call-outs may occasionally require changes to planned work.
Requirements
Proven experience installing and maintaining access control systems
Experience with CCTV, door entry and intruder alarm systems
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
ECS Card
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Experience
Integrated security systems
IP CCTV
Intruder & CCTV ARC monitoring
Gates and barriers
IPAF certification (preferred but not essential)
Preferred Knowledge of Manufacturers
