We are seeking a dedicated Academic Services Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Cambridge.
As an Academic Services Coordinator, you will assist the Director of Academic and Student Services and the Manager of Academic Services in maintaining the College’s timetabling system ensuring that records are compliant with college, partner University and external stakeholder expectations. You will coordinate all policies and regulations around the management of assessments, timetabling and student records, always ensuring a high standard of accuracy and completeness.
Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £28,500- £32,000 per annum
Academic Services Coordinator Requirements:
University level qualifications, preferably in an Accounting, Finance, Maths or Business- related field. or at least two (2) years’ experience in a relevant industry and/or have equivalent qualifications and/or professional experience.
Experience of working in a busy customer orientated environment, including dealing with customers face to face, on the phone and via email.
Solutions-orientated quick-thinker.
Experience of working with data systems and a good understanding of the importance of file management (including electronic files).
Have the ability to communicate with staff and students from a diverse range of cultural and educational backgrounds.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, in particular formulas and functions.
Good data analysis and presentation skills.
A strong team player who is also able to work autonomously.
The ability to use Microsoft Office to present data in various formats.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of equal opportunity, equity and workplace health and safety principles and the ability to implement them.

Desirable:
Customer service qualification.
Experience in a Higher Education or Independent Education setting.
Knowledge of student finance and student accommodation.
Familiar with the use of pivot tables.
Use of project management tools and techniques.
