Location: Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £43,408 per annum (£44,875 with ATS)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (37 hours per week)
Start Date: August / September 2026
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and passionate Chemistry specialist to join a highly successful Science department at one of Yorkshire's leading Further Education colleges.
This role offers the opportunity to teach A Level Chemistry. You will become part of a collaborative team of subject specialists dedicated to delivering outstanding teaching and supporting learners to achieve exceptional outcomes.
The Role
Deliver high-quality Chemistry teaching across a range of programmes
Support learners to achieve outstanding academic outcomes and progression opportunities
Develop engaging and innovative learning resources
Monitor learner progress and provide effective feedback and intervention
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental success
Support students progressing to university, apprenticeships, and STEM careers
About You
Hold a degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject
Have a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent), or are willing to work towards one
Possess strong subject knowledge and a passion for Chemistry
Are committed to delivering an exceptional learner experience
